Snugglies, blankies, and burp cloths...

Remember back in April when I was glued to my sewing machine making baby gifts for all my friends? Well, in the process, I discovered some new talent and a bit of an obsession with making baby items. This actually works out pretty well for me because I'm in that time of my life where all my friends are either having babies, expecting babies, or will be in the next few years. My gift closet is getting well stocked!

I never posted pictures of most of the items I made, so I'm getting caught up on that now (click on the photos for a larger view).

Here's a no-sew fleece baby blanket with matching snuggly blankie...

Close up of the snuggly...

Another snuggly (this one doesn't have a matching blanket)...

I make two styles of burp clothes - a flannel burp cloth and an embellished cloth diaper. These are four sets of two matching burp clothes that start with a cloth diaper...

I just love that yellow baby bunny fabric so I had to post a close up of that one...

Here are three sets of flannel burp clothes in baby boy colors and designs. I give these away in groups of three or six, depending on if I have other items to include with the gift. Half of the set on the left had already been given away...

A gender neutral set...

Burp clothes for baby girls (all our friends have had baby boys lately so the girl stash is well stocked)...

The flannel burp clothes measure 10 1/2 by 16 1/2 inches. I usually choose a print that I like and then find some kind of coordinating stripe, polka dot, or solid. I can't tell you how much fun I have selecting and matching fabrics!

Thanks for letting me share my creations!

I love all of them! The strawberry pattern is so cute :) And that first blanket looks so snuggly.
