I used an 18-inch grapevine wreath and 1.5, 2, and 3 inch pots. However, the interesting thing is that depending on where you buy the pots, they can be completely different sizes. A 2-inch pot can vary quite significantly from store to store. I bought the ribbon for the bow at Michaels.
This wreath is currently hanging on our back patio. I love looking at it - it makes me happy and ready to plant flowers!
